We keep up with all the technological advances in audiology. Our equipment is calibrated annually and uses state of the art technology.
Blindness separates us from things,
but deafness separates us from people.

About Us
West Coast Hearing was founded by Sylvia Richards in 2008, born from her love of the West Coast region, people in general and passion for being of service. Sylvia studied Linguistics and Psychology, but it was her passion to make a meaningful difference in the world which lead her to complete a qualification of Speech Pathology and Audiology at the University of the Witwatersrand…
Products
We offer a wide range of quality audiological devices suited to your individual hearing needs. We recommend hearing aids to suit the type, degree and configuration of hearing loss. We make recommendations on what hearing aids depending on your diagnostic tests to suit the type, degree or configuration of hearing loss…
Do I need a Hearing Test?
A hearing test is advised if you have any concerns, sudden onset hearing loss, are taking medication that affects your hearing or balance, have ringing in your ears, work in an industrial setting or as a musician for example. We advise a hearing test for babies and another before grade 1 at 5/6 years of age.
